Growth check
Question 1 of 5What describes you best?
What the growth check looks at.
The check reads your shop's homepage and one product page the way a search engine fetches them: without a browser, in a few seconds. More than 30 checks run in four areas, each with its own weight.
SEO
Title and description at the right length, exactly one H1, a canonical, alt texts on images, structured data, a preview image for social networks, HTTPS, no accidental noindex, a mobile viewport, a favicon, robots.txt and a sitemap.
Speed
Server response time (target under 400 ms), compression, lazy loading of images, the number of third-party script domains, HTML weight, preload and preconnect, and modern image formats like WebP and AVIF.
Trust
Trust badges and reviews, visible payment methods, legal notice and contact, structured company data, HSTS and links to your channels such as Instagram, TikTok or YouTube.
Product page
Product schema, a visible price, the add-to-cart button, reviews, trust elements, breadcrumbs, at least three product images and a delivery time.
Then you see where your shop leaves revenue behind. The check is a fast look at the HTML and does not replace a browser measurement: for values from Google PageSpeed Insights with Core Web Vitals, use the shop check. How such findings look in practice is shown in the results at KoRo and MK Angelsport. And if you want the points done for you: Xellux Studio.
